Notice biographique :
(1616-1699).
Maître de University College à Oxford, converti au catholicisme romain,
il tenta de suivre Jacques II lors de sa fuite en France. Il fut
néanmoins
pris et emprisonné dans le Kent. A sa libération, il mena la vie d'un
homme brisé. Il est l'auteur d'un intéressant traité
de logique néo-ockhamiste.
