Notice biographique : (1589 - 1653). Jésuite d'origine portugaise, envoyé en mission en Chine. Il réside notamment à Hangzhou. Il y traduit la partie logique du célèbre Cursus Conimbricense en langue chinoise vers 1631, sous le titre "Recherche sur la théorie des noms, Ming li t'an".
