*Elche 1530, +Paris 28.X.1566. Entré dans la Compagnie de Jésus le 30.IX.1551.
Immédiatement célèbre pour son éloquence, il devient l'un des plus célèbres orateurs jésuites de son temps.
Il enseigne l'éloquence à Coimbre et Rome, puis l'Ecriture Sainte à Lyon et Paris.
